Hello Panasonic,


Before I get into the description of this awesome innovative product, it's important to point out that there is no other camcorder that can connect to the smartphone to deliver the most vibrant video ever record that is immediately available on the phone. No need to monitor it via Bluetooth or WiFi, this is already saved and ready to be edited and uploaded right away!


This device is a camcorder that allows any cellphone from any developer to be inserted into the camcorder like a cassette tape and would be used as the storage device like an SD memory card by plugging a USB plug into the phone that that connects to the camcorder that can be swapped out to accommodate which cell phone manufacturer makes that connection to the camcorder. also, with a side screen that extends off of the side of the camcorder interface to watch what is being recorded in a more efficient manner than to hold the cell phone with two hands. This would take "selfie" recording to a whole other level by having the screen of the camcorder interface flip around to show exactly what's being recorded in a selfie video rather than the user having to guess or shoot the video with the front facing camera of their phone that's usually of lower quality. Also, there will be an application that allows quick editing of the footage so that everything is ready to be sent to cloud storage or any number of websites or popular apps.


Also, there can be alternative versions of the interface where the user can have a camcorder interface that's a harness that attaches to the cellphone instead of having the phone completely enclosed in the camcorder with similar features of a camera in the front with an independent camera device purchased previously that inserts into the harness version, with a screen that extends off of the side and a USB cable that plugs into the cellphone to connect the device. This device can even come with and additional option to have another lens beneath the lens that records to turn this device into a projector, so whatever is recorded can be viewed comfortably by multiple participants.


The practical applications for such a device would merge the technology of our beloved cellphones and recording enthusiast that would love to use their cellphone to record all of their projects. This would allow amateur film makers, lecture recordings, directors, family vacation/ tourists, vloggers, company gatherings, producers availability to grab one of these devices before looking to a other brands that would have to have the video uploaded to a computer, edited on the computer, then downloaded onto a website or uploaded to the cellular device, they can shoot the video and upload it instantly to YouTube, Snapchat, or any other popular website for videos, but it can all be done from the phone which is where we watch most of our video nowadays. This just cuts out the middle process, and helps save some time, and allows the user to edit the video via an app developed specifically for this device.


Just to recap, here are the features and functions of the camcorder cellphone projector interface:

1: The camcorder + projector interface device

2: A USB plug that connects the camcorder interface to the cellphone

3: An additional battery that can power the cellphone when connected to the camcorder interface.

4: A side screen that unfolds from the side of the camcorder interface

5: A harness version of the camcorder interface with straps that can connect the cellphone securely to the camcorder.

6: An app that allows the footage to be edited that interfaces with the camcorder so the user can edit in real-time rather than waiting until the footage is uploaded to the the computer, and then the phone.

7: Since a lot of websites and apps are going to live streaming, this camcorder device can use the cellphone signal to broadcast live with a high quality video on a camcorder that has more capabilities than just a cellphone alone. To look at it logically, what cellphone can do all the things a camcorder can as easily or in general?


In closing, I hope you all take the time to consider what a device that can merge camcorders with our beloved cellphones can achieve. No rush to respond, I definitely want to give you all adequate time to weigh the pros and cons. I just recently filed a provision patents, that can be updated if there's anything you would like to have added. We would be looking to setup some form of licensing agreement.
