There are 5 million seniors in Canada alone and 8 % of these seniors live in retirement homes. This is a very
large market world wide. As a maintenance manager at a retirement home I can assure you there is a market for a very basic tv and simplified remote that is also compatible to an HD box.I have continuous calls to fix televisions. Wrong buttons being pushed on remotes changing inputs, muting and shutting off HD boxes.The TVs and remotes are to complicated for seniors to use especially with dementia causing the person to become very upset.Some TVs even require 2 remotes,one to operate the HD box and one to operate the volume and inputs. I'm positive this product if advertised and marketed properly would be the next best seller.You would make all maintenance men at senior homes very happy and also make the lives of seniors a lot easier.
