Dear Pizza Hut,
I understand that you have a base menu that sets the standard for what pizza should be. That being said, different states will have a preference for certain foods. Hawaii in particular has developed its own style of cuisine that borrows flavors from the melting pot of rich culture it helps to sustain. Smoked meat, a local favorite and long time contender in Hawaii, is mainly used as an appetizer at restaurants or parties. I believe that with proper marketing and promotion, adding a seasonal smoked meat pizza to Hawaii's menu will help you to gain a cult following of customers. Just as Taco Bell's seasonal Kalua pork quesadillas, or McDonald's Haupia pies, you'll be tapping into a niche market that has yet to be..tapped. I think it's time to elevate the "Hawaiian pizza" with the help of smoked meat. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Also wanted to add in reference to my idea that because it is seasonal, you could have the Hawaii franchises look to partner with local meat farmers to provide material. Because smoked meat is popular here in Hawaii, the ability to find a licensed meat vendor should be as easy as finding a mechanic to fix your toyota pickup.
