Application will sync and send information from toothbrush. Info sent- daily log of brushing, including time brushed, length of brushing. Sensor on brush that will track per session how long you spent on left/right side based on orientation of brush. Benefits- track own care as well as children's habits. At dental checkup- PDF can be printed with summary report of habits, displaying monthly, weekly, daily routine and thoroughness of sessions. Information can help Dentist/Hygienist in personalizing treatment and prevention methods. (example- cavities on left side can now be linked to lack of left side brushing based on report). As a dental hygienist, I would like to participate in the creation of this app and believe that the current sonicare electric brush can be incorporated with the addition of this technology.
