Loot Box 5, 10, And 25

Taco Bell New Product Idea

Submitted 2 years ago

Similar to the $5 dollar box, but instead of being set items its random food items inside.
A $5 dollar option for single person meal, 10 for 2, 25 for 4 or 5 (family box)

Can be marketed a lot to kids due to loot/random aspect of it (perfect for twitch/youtube ads). Contents should be variable but include enough food and value and variation to make it worth doing. Also a good way for the location to put some less popular items in with more popular to help sell, and spread popularity. Especially for new limited menu items.

Can be marketed to adults for the easiness of purchase. Rather than getting 15 different items with all the specializations that their family wants, they just get the 25 box and sort who wants what at home.

5 dollar might include like a quesadilla and 2 bean burritos.
10 dollar might include nachos bell grande, two steak burritos and two nacho tacos.
25 dollar might include 4 bean burritos, 2 nacho tacos, 2 of whatever the limited menu item is, 2 cheesy gordita crunch, a crunchwrap supreme, and 2 soft tacos.

Drinks may be offered with the meal at the behest of the company, but these should not be random.

Of course these things change and do not have to be set in stone. The idea is that the randomness takes the decision and stress off the parent or child and lets the staff decide. Of course sometimes you will get something you dont like, but kids these days love random. And parents hate waiting on their kids to decide, and even more so hate having to order 10 different customized items.

You might even partner with a new game coming out upon release of the idea that includes game codes or a chance to win the game or something.
