Lower Carb Naked Chicken Chalupa

Taco Bell New Product Idea

Submitted 7 years ago

So naked chicken chalupa is pretty amazing right? Well for those of us living the low carb lifestyle, it's even more amazing than you could imagine. It's only 19 carbs! Eating low carb makes it nearly impossible to eat out, especially at taco Bell since everything is pretty loaded with carbs. Then taco Bell came around and made a friggin taco shel out of fried chicken, and suddenly there's something on the market we can eat. It is truly an untapped market, since most of the low carb options including eating a burger with no bun or wrapped in lettuce (aka no fun)

Now, 19 carbs is pretty low as far as fast food goes, but the primary contributor to that number is almost entirely from the breading on the chicken. Luckily, low carb breading is not only doable, but fairly awesome if done with some almond flour and any kind of cheese (as a binder).

Just food for thought. 19 is pretty low, but it's still high enough that only one can be consumed at a time. That number can come way down, and the ketogenic and Atkins crowd will come busting down your door for a viable, delicious low carb product like this. Not to mention it will still taste fantastic for everyone else!
