From Disability To Mobility
Toyota Marketing Idea IdeaSubmitted 7 years ago
I am someone who has a very rough and touching story about having gastric bypass and 340lbs to 210 and able to get around well. A few years later Bile duct surgery (very serious and complicated) left me with severe back pain again after being gone for over 10 years due to the lack of mobility. I ended up having a discectomy that failed causing some damage and lead to a bone and blood infection. This was so bad that in February of this year I ended up getting a spinal cord implant surgery in February. After that surgery however I was in rough shape. When I would drive to work in my 2007 Honda accord I would leave home drive 30 minutes to work, stay there three or four hours and come back. When my day was finished I would go to bed around 4:00 PM and stay there until the next morning. We were seriously considering disability due to the lack of any real life or recreation. Not to mention a lack of time with the family. The 2007 Accord engine locked up forcing us to look for another car and having us to get a car payment again. (Yuck)
This took no time, not even an extra day or two for things to change. When I rode to work two days after getting the Toyota my pain was so much better I didn't get in bed at all until later that evening when my wife went to bed. For the first time in over two years I was able to drive to work and home and be able get up and stay up and participate in being a family. So the I Dia is a commercial that reflects that struggle and release following The purchase of a 2016 Camry. OK police not purchase but still a beautiful car. I was forced to look at a car quickly and didn't have the luxury of spending a couple weeks trying to figure that out. I ended up settling on Toyota and picked out my new Camry fairly quick. This is my first Toyota product and I have to say we have switched from a Honda family to a Toyota family just based on what has happened with me there is no better vehicle on the market then a Toyota.
