Something So Obvious, It's Been Overlooked ...

I cannot believe in this day and age, with every conceivable gizmo being able to be monitored from the dash console, that NO ONE has thought to include sensors that can detect and show you in the console when a light has burnt out. Wouldn't it be nice as well as convenient to know when a brake light or headlight, or signal light etc...is out? and needs replacing? Like I said, so obvious that no one has thought to include this safety feature ...so instead we have to rely on someone pulling up to us at an intersection to tell us a light is out? Feel free to send me royalty checks. LOL. I'm contacting ALL car makers with this info.
