In Series Hydrogen-electr8c Hybrid

Toyota New Product Idea

Submitted 1 year ago

Combining improved Yamaha, or other equal manufacturers, electric motors with a rotary hydrogen powered engine. Using the engine as electrical generation, power is fed to either a rear differential drive motor, or in-wheel motors. More specifically, to a small battery pack that in turn; feeds power to motors. The engine would only need to run to keep a sufficient charge in the batteries.

I see this or even with a diesel opposing piston engine, that a much smaller amount of fuel would be necessary for the same output. This would also bridge the gap between ICEs and Eve. Plus keeping afloat an robust aftermarket parts industry. With using hydrogen, you would even b3 on the direct track for carbon neutrality. With the final hurdle being any NOx exhaust and how to eliminate it if it cannot be avoided.

Thank you for your time
