For The Toyota Sienna 2nd Row Seats. 2017

I have owned three Sienna�s and always have problems after removing the rear seat and that bracket remains.
I have two black labs and they are always catching their legs in there.
So here is my idea,

If you cannot design the seats to fold into the floor because of patent infringements from Chrysler. How about flooding the bracket into the floor?
If you can position the bracket so it can lock in the upright position for the seat, or push or pull a locking pin to real ease or lock the mechanism. If the seats are removed the locked will be depressed and the bracket will be pushed into the floor and locked into position.
A cover can be designed to come out to cover the hole or a separate cover can be made with carpet covering both. Now you have the same as Chysler has, without a complete redesign.
