ALL vehicle doors of all vehicles contribute to opened vehicle door collisions and opened vehicle door pedestrian fatalities by not providing a Zone of Illumination. My NEW IDEA is to apply to the entire interior lower edge of any vehicle door retro reflective tape that is automatically illuminated by another vehicle drivers headlights to provide a constant visual warning EVEN WITH A PERSON OUTSIDE THE OPENED VEHICLE DOOR. My new idea is immediately available to be installed today on all Toyota assembly lines and will be available to all Toyota vehicles to be installed prior to the sale or lease of any Toyota vehicle.
