Not taking advantage of the market. I have worked with Uber for two years. I truly believe you are not only cutting drivers money but your own. People will pay for more for delivires than you charge. A flat fee of be 5$ for the delivery driver is not unreasonable.You charge the customer a two dollar p/u and del fee, that Uber keeps plus 5$ with in a mile an additional 1 for every mile or partial miles over 1 mile,with the driver getting 50% of that. A 2.1 Mile trip would give Uber from the customer end would be $3.50, the driver 6$.
Time wise with the restaurant if a driver has to wait more than five minutes they should receive one dollar charged to the restaurant.
30% of an order is cheating yourselves. minimum delivery fee you charge a restaurant, should be 2$ or 10% whichever is greater. I delivered a 2$ hamburger,so 30% you got 60¢. Stop cheating yourselves.
