I hope the Uber will consider encouraging riders to tip drivers when appropriate. As a driver, I provide 10 Star services to my clients. I provide them with a clean and comfortable environment, toiletries and mints, a shoulder to cry on, and I remain flexible to meet any and all needs of the client, including adhering to special routes and stops as needed and allowing the client to vent or engage in positive conversation, as needed. I believe that more riders would be motivated to strive for excellence if they knew that Uber clients would be more likely to tip them for going the extra mile (literally) to create an unforgettable experience. Gratuity is an expression of kindness and gratitude. Let's make it worth the effort for the drivers who put their lives, safety, and personal vehicles on the road to help keep others safe! Go Uber!!!!
