Uber App Improvement

A friend of mine was stuck up in Pittsburgh and he has some trouble with technology so I told him, I'd get him the ride to get pick up from there to go to Baltimore.
Here's the issue I thought of improving the Uber app is: 'When I searched for his address and then I searched for mine every time I kept getting out of the Uber app, it kept erasing the address I already had wrote down on the app. So here's the idea is there a way to have the Uber app save what you typed so when you go to google maps to search for another place for example Baltimore inner harbor, Hard Rock café address it saves what you wrote down and doesn't erase it and then you are able to put Point B address Or is there a way to mix google maps with Uber so for example if you do not know the address you want to go at you just write Inner Harbor Coffee shops and it appears a list of addresses and names.
