A young Parisian named Olivier lives in 17th century Paris during the corruption of French politics. His family has died due to the famines in Paris and he is employed by the crown as a fledgling muskateer. He quickly discovers all the deception surrounding the monarchy and meets an assasin within the royal army who introduces him to the brotherhood. Feeling renewed purpose he joins the brotherhood and joins the ranks of D'Artagnan, Athos, Portos, and Aremis go fight the corrupt cardinal Richelieu and save France from devastation.
