The soon to be assassin is born a slave in America and is raised in different plantations. In his early adult or late teenage years he escapes the plantation. He somehow encounters the assassin mentor at the time. The mentor invites him over to his house and discusses the Templars and the Confederacy and slavers are mainly Templars. The assassin wants to be apart of this cause to stop slavery and the Templar order, so he is trained by the mentor and takes part in the battles and to stop the Templar order.
