The main Character is born in the year of 1490 in the land of Tenochtitlan to a poor family. having a rough childhood full of fighting and so forth he gets the chance to join the local assassins brotherhood at a young age. Hidden in the Templo Mayor is a very powerful piece of eden. It is the assassins duty to protect it and make sacrifices to the gods/ "the piece of eden" to keep the power from the piece of eden from unleashing its havoc and awakening a powerful Ancient King from the old civilazation that was super advanced. The piece eden also reveals the location to El Dorado which Should play a critical role in the game! The templars on the other side of the Atlantic want this piece of eden led by the conquistador/ TEMPLAR Hernan Cortes to harness it's power and get the riches from El Dorado! We all know what conquistadors did to the Meso Americans. They conquered and killed them. An Assassins Creed Game in this setting would be awesome!
