Basically, I think Siege should implement an option where a player can test an operator before dumping a ton of renown into them, as the new year 4 ops are rather expensive, but you can easily get 1 a week. This option will have a timer the same as the renown booster packs, where you'll have a couple of hours (12 or so) to test out an operator, but you will only gain half the renown while using this operator. If you decide to purchase the Operator during the test run period, the renown you lost will be given back to you. (The renown idea is something I sucked out of my thumb, but I believe it's fair, as you don't really deserve the renown you get from playing as an Op you haven't bought yet.) This will ensure that the playerbase get their operators and have more renown to spend on packs and skins, instead of wasting 25K on an Operator only to realize you really don't like the operator.
