I've Got An Idea...How About The Idea Of CUSTOMER SERVICE?

Tried contacting customer service for a problem with a new VHF radio. Was pushed to a webpage trying to charge me $90 for 30 days of customer service. THIS is how you treat your customers? You make them pay to contact you for problems?

Here's a little "IDEA" to "Incite" you with...answer your damned phones and stop charging us for help! I'll never buy another Uniden product! I tried to get help on a new VHF radio and was pushed to a website charging $90 to assist me. REALLY?!! You haven't made enough profit off the sale of the product? Is dealing with your customer's problems a Profit Center now?

Why are US corporations so incredibly stupid and uncaring? The top execs, making multi-millions a year, are playing golf in the Caymens while nobody in the rest of the company gives a damn about anything except showing profits to shareholders. Customers are just a big annoyance.
