When Elderly Or Children Cannot Be Found

Verizon Wireless New Product Idea

Submitted 6 years ago

I have an idea for you that will blow your competition out of the water.

We hear everyday that elderly and/or children go missing. Elderly is usually because of dementia. The product I suggest is a GPS device that clips on to someone's belt or waistband. If an elderly person gets disoriented they can push the button on the device and it will do three things;
1. Give them walking directions to the nearest family member's home (which is programmed into the device on initial set-up)
2. Notify a designated family member and/or caregiver of the GPS location of the individual. This person will get the GPS location on their Verizon phone when ever the button is pushed.
3. An optional setting could be that 911 is notified to check on the welfare of the person who is lost.

If some technical solution can be found for this technology, it will save lives, put the mind(s) of family member at ease, and would be make everyone with at-risk seniors flock to Verizon for the service.
