Early Warning System For Drivers Approaching A Motor Vehicle Acc

Volkswagen Other Idea

Submitted 8 years ago

This invention relates in general to systems for warning drivers of the existence
of a motor vehicle accident on a road or highway. In particular, this invention relates to
an improved early warning system for drivers approaching a motor vehicle accident on a
road or highway that uses one or more laser beams.

Each of the laser lights is capable of sending a laser beam into the sky. The
intensity of the laser beam may extend, for example, for one-half to one mile into the sky.
Each of the laser lights can be installed on the top of the front and/or back windshield of
the vehicle. For example, each of the laser lights may be a relatively small device that is
adhered or otherwise secured to the front dashboard under the front windshield and/or to
the rear backboard under the rear windshield. In that way, the laser beams (when
activated as described below) can extend through the windshield(s) of the vehicle toward
the sky.
