Solution To UK Government Diesel Problem

Volkswagen New Service Idea

Submitted 6 years ago

In the last couple of years there has been a dim view of diesel emissions (and rightly so) Although it wasn't that long we were all being told to buy diesel. The UK government is proposing a scrapage scheme in the near future. In recent years VW has come under close scrutiny reference emissions, I believe VW can turn this bad press around by coming up with a new economic petrol, hydrogen, and battery plants that they would be able to retro fit in to vehicles already on the road. Instead of scrapping the whole vehicle lets just scrap the engine, VW could be a leader on this and instead of a £2000 scrapage scheme the government could give that money to VW to develop, build and fit these new engines. Although VW is still the one of the largest Car manufactures despite the bad press this could make you the largest Morally ethically thinking car manufacture. (now that is good press)
