Vehicle Instant Bio-metric Scanning Allocation System

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates generally to a system and method for vehicular security system. More specifically, the present invention is a vehicular security system and method for alerting the proper authorities of the vehicle's movement and location.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In present society, there has been a growing trend of vehicular misuse, theft, and hijacking. There currently is no security measure to assist law enforcement in tracking and locating a car while it is being jacked by criminals. Although presently-available vehicles contain technology and devices that contain global positional system (GPS) locator and tracker, present vehicles do not carry any means to alert the proper authorities. Also, there are no universal system within present vehicles to allow the proper authorities to monitor and track where the vehicle is located and headed towards. Additionally, there are no vehicular system that would allow the vehicle to alert to the proper authorities if the driver of the vehicle has any outstanding warrants or is on a wanted list. Finally, there are no vehicular security system to provide drivers with a key that is unique to them alone such that the driver alone can operate the vehicle, which prevents carjackers from hot-wiring the vehicle to make it operable illegally.
An objective of the present invention is to provide users with a vehicular security system and method for alerting the proper authorities of the vehicle's movement and location. The present invention intends to provide users with a vehicular security system that will allow users to discreetly alert the proper authorities when users are under duress and wish for the proper authorities to track the movement and location of the vehicle. The present invention intends to provide users with a vehicular security system that allows for unique access to control of the vehicle. The present invention intends to allow proper authorities to track and monitor the vehicle's movement and location when a user, who is a wanted criminal or has a warrant out for them, tries to activate the vehicle.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention is a vehicular security system and method for alerting the proper authorities of the vehicle's movement and location. The present invention primarily includes a touchscreen mounted to the front dashboard of a vehicle. The touchscreen contains a fingerprint scanner or similar device that provides for users a unique key to operate their vehicle. The present invention contains two distinct codes for the user to punch in to either deactivate the vehicle's tracking system or to activate the vehicle's tracking system. The present invention contains a method for allowing the user to alert the proper authorities discreetly when a criminal is trying to hijack the vehicle. The present invention also includes a method that allows the vehicle to alert to the proper authorities if the driver is a wanted criminal, has any outstanding warrants in their name, or other similar issues.

DETAIL DESCRIPTIONS OF THE INVENTION

All illustrations of the drawings are to be describing selected versions of the present invention and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention. All references of user or users pertain to either individual or individuals who would utilize the present invention and/or individuals affected by the present invention. All references of proper authorities can pertain to law enforcement, governmental agencies, and other similar regulatory bodies.
As seen in FIG. 1 through FIG. 6, the present invention is a vehicular security system and method for alerting the proper authorities of the vehicle's movement and location. The present invention can be of any shape, size, material, features, type or kind, orientation, location, quantity, components, and arrangements of components that would allow the present invention to fulfill the objectives and intents of the present invention. The system of the present invention primarily includes a touch screen, a vehicle or a plurality of vehicles, a driver or a plurality of drivers, a remote server, global positional system (GPS), and the proper authorities. The touchscreen of the present invention is preferably located on the front dashboard of the vehicle near to the driver or within arm's reach of the driver. The touchscreen contains a biometric scanner that can scan the user's fingerprints and/or the user's hand geometry.
As seen in FIG. 4 through FIG. 6, the method of the present invention includes a process for allowing the user to disable the tracking of the vehicle by the proper authorities. First, the user must create a profile or profiles for all eligible drivers of the vehicle. The method requires that the user provide the personal information, driver's license information, and the fingerprints and/or hand geometry of each driver being registered to the vehicle. Once the profile or profiles have been created, the user must upload the profiles to the remote server. Then, the remote server links the profiles to the appropriate databases of the proper authorities such that the information within the profiles can be matched to the appropriate databases of the proper authorities. Once the profiles have been linked to the databases, the driver may initiate the startup of the vehicle as instructed by the vehicle. Then, the driver can commence override of the vehicle's security system, in particular the vehicle's tracking system. This is done in two steps. First, the driver must place their palm o the touchscreen when prompted to do so by the touchscreen. When the touchscreen is able to read a clear print from the driver, the touchscreen will change prompts on the screen to ask for a code from the driver. Then, the driver will input their security override code in order to be given full control of the vehicle and to disable the tracking system. Finally, the driver is able to drive the vehicle freely.
As seen in FIG. 4 through FIG. 6, the present invention contains an alternative method. This alternative method of the present invention is utilized to alert the proper authorities if the driver is under duress or if the driver and/or the vehicle is being hijacked, or similar. This alternative method is very similar to the method described previously. However, instead of inputting their security override code, the driver will put in their emergency alert code. Once this code has been submitted, the vehicle's GPS tracker will be initiated and activated. Next, the remote server will relay the vehicle's GPS location to the proper authorities. Finally, the proper authorities will be able to track and locate the vehicle's and/or the driver's location in order to perform the appropriate measure to ensure the driver's safety.
As seen in FIG. 4 through FIG. 6, the present invention contains another alternative method in which the vehicle is able to alert to the proper authorities if the driver is a wanted criminal or has warrants out for them. Also, this method allows the vehicle to provide GPS location of the vehicle without the driver's notice. Finally, in an alternative embodiment of the present invention, the method can allow for the proper authorities to disable the vehicle to prevent the driver from utilizing the vehicle. This alternative method is similar to method(s) described previously. However, when the driver provides their print on the touchscreen, the remote server will alert to the proper authorities if the print of the driver matches any of those of criminals wanted or criminal with outstanding warrants. Then, the proper authorities can enable the tracker on the vehicle. Finally, the proper authorities can monitor the GPS location of the vehicle with the driver in it and perform the appropriate measure to apprehend the driver if needed to do so.
Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
