Chat Media Classification And 'select All' Delete Option

Hi, My name is Clare from Nigeria.

'AS IS'
Currently, any WhatsApp user who seeks to delete all pictures and or videos in a chat's media will have to click on each picture one at a time.
Cons:
- This is dissatisfactory and time consuming especially in situations where the media content is much



'TO BE' Idea
I recommend a functionality where all the pictures and videos in the each chat media:

- is classified according to the date received. For example: Apr 24th, 2023. Apr 23rd, 2023. etc.

- can be deleted based on the date i.e. when one clicks on a picture from a particular date, the SELECT ALL option (select all the media in that specific date/group) will be by the side of the classified date and as well as by the side of each picture in the same group/date.

- can allow the user to have the option to SELECT ALL (all the pictures and videos in the media) at once

I hope this idea is seen and considered by WhatsApp.
