Private Chat Functionality

Dear Whatsapp dev- can you include some type of functionality that allows one to make a chat private ie. With a single person on whatsapp- meaning if i want to chat with someone and not be disturbed by others seeing me 'online' - i should be able to lock a chat or go into private mode with someone where only the two of us chat privately without being bombarded by messages pics etc. When selecting - this option, other contacts wont be able to see that u are online neither would they be able to disturb your chat for the entire duration - unless u get off the private chat mode.
