I had an idea like this,but yours seems a lot more cooler my idea was "ASSASSIN'S CREED V: REVENANT" which is where you're a man named,Antrim and you're presumed dead after your father was murdered Along with other assassin's and you were framed for it then you known that the assassins, and the law were after you and knowledge think you're dead and knowledge that is best to keep it that way.

Then you find out that the murdererror has gone to the old West where you meet the wild west icons such as Billy The Kid, Wyatt Earp, Buffalo Bill, etc.
But the two that stand out are Bill Hickok and Bill Tilghman.
Bill Hickok takes you under his wing and teaches you how to survive in the west but he's also a criminal.
Bill Tilghman will offer to clear your name if you help him buil up his reputation in the law.

But your idea seems much more fun.
