It's easy if you know how, you can create a firewall rule to block all incoming and outgoing communications with Adobe servers.

Give Us A Way To Stop Auto Updates

This has been a problem for years, and one which Adobe seems to have no interest in resolving. Why Adobe can't have an easy process for stopping automatic updates is beyond me. Like most people, I have used many pieces of software over the years, and Adobe products are the only ones that cannot be simply set NOT to auto-update. I've implemented cumbersome methods such as etc/hosts blocks, changing permissions on their updater files, etc. but it is always a headache.
