Car Doors Proximity Sensors

BMW Product Improvement Idea

Submitted 352 days ago

Hello

I am Ehsan Salehi. I am a medical doctor and I live in Iran. An idea has come to my mind that I personally cannot implement, so I decided to send this idea to you.

My idea, in short, is that in order to prevent car doors from accidentally hitting when opening it in the parking lot and causing damage such as damage to the car door color, I suggest that proximity sensors be placed on the outer wall of the car doors and These sensors are connected to a lock placed on the hinge of the car door. when the passenger opens the car door, these sensors are activated if the door is close to nearby objects such as the parking wall or the car parked on the side and the possibility of hitting them and by sending a message to the door hinge lock and activating it, the car door can be prevented from opening further, thus preventing damage to the car door.

I would be very grateful if you send me your opinion about this idea and if you like this idea, use it in your cars. By the way, I hereby inform you that I have no financial goal in sending my idea, and if you like this idea, you can use it in your cars without paying any idea registration fee. You can also contact me on [email protected] .

Thank you
Your sincerely

Ehsan salehi
