Children's Hunting

Utilizing the same technology as gift registry such as wedding registries and baby registries. Targeting customers with children and helping to inspire a new generation of hunters. The idea is to put a bar code on all of the various animals around a cabelas store and allow children to " hunt" the animals in conjunction with appropriate hunting seasons throughout the year. The customers would come in and buy an in store hunting lisence for the season and would then find the specific animal in the store and " shoot " it with the registry gun. Then as further incentive if the hunter completes a set number of hunts they can enter to win a gift card. I believe this will not only bring in more customers with children ( who while their kids are hunting will shop) but it will inspire a number of younger kids to become interested in hunting.
