I've worked in retail in my early years and have a suggestion for your company. I understand all employee's stock and do cash registers. We live in a small town and your store receives lots of customers. Weekend it's super busy due to the fact we have a public campground maybe 2 miles away. Our local small grocery store is for sale and only carries a limited amount. I stop at your store at least twice a week and my husband also shops. Now, this is just my opinion...I worked in retail, Target for 5 yrs, Montogmery Ward, and Clinic for 37 yrs. I retired 3 yrs ago. I think it would be a good idea to have a Cashier at the register all the time to greet those coming in & check the people out without coming from an aisle in the store. Hire a retired person for a couple of hours a week or a 16 yr old high school student a couple hours. You would sell more products with filled shelves. My husband stocked shelves years ago for another company. As busy as your store is this would make everyone happy. As busy as they are can imagine how hard it is to get shelves stocked. Your constantly running from stocking to register. You maybe would get more employees as I no alot of people don't like the register . My hubby stock shelves for many years and is retired and would not do the cash register. These are all just thoughts of mine after working for over 37 years with the public.
