My name is Lloyd, from store 0478. My idea is for efficient handling of large parties (6+).
It's a simple method that anyone can teach their cashiers when sports teams or business functions pop in. And there's no additional cost to any store.
Simply ring up four subs, store the transaction under a phone order with a name associated with the group. Then recall the transaction, take another four orders and store again.
Each time a ticket will pop out. this prevents one ridiculously long ticket, allows the other registers to integrate seamlessly, and creates less confusion along each station of the line,.resulting in a quicker, more enjoyable time for everyone.
