Honda Ridgeline
Honda Product Improvement IdeaSubmitted 6 years ago
Please move the gear shifter back to the steering column or else make it a push button/dial system; the current shifter position on the 2017/2018 Ridgeline is in the way of the driver being able to easily access cups in the cup holders and represents a spill hazard.
Also, please add an ash tray/change holder drawer somewhere on the lower dash for easy access at drive-thrus.
Additionally, please go back to using an open area/storage directly in front of the console (like in the original Ridgelines) because that area in my 2007 Ridgeline has been very useful to me with regard to my kids; I use that space for small coolers, Kleenex boxes, wet umbrellas, etc. . .).
Please also use larger sun glass holders; the one on current Ridgeline is too small and kept jamming with my regular glasses in it when I tried to use it while checking out the new Ridgeline at the dealership.
Lastly, I would suggest moving the emergency/parking brake (either in handle or button form) to somewhere that a passenger can easily access it in case of a driver emergency.
