New Fuel Efficient Hydraulic Gasoline Engine

Honda New Product Idea

Submitted 79 days ago

My name is Robert Pangrcic from LaSalle,Illinois for over 10 years we been working on a patented new fuel efficient hydraulic gasoline engine which operates exactly as an electric motor without the many parts of common gasoline engines, such as a starter, crankshaft, timing gears/belts, flywheel, and clutch among others. Our new engine is unique in that it only runs when the accelerator is pressed, therefore when power is not needed the engine is dead which contributes to saving fuel. It is lighter and cheaper to manufacture without the many parts seen in today's engines, while still being able to produce 100% torque at 0 rpm, exactly like an electric motor. This is three times the instantaneous torque of any comparable crankshaft engine. The fuel efficiency is much higher than engines on the market today and it can run on 0-100 octane fuel without preignition, or any spark ignited fuel or gas. Also, our expansion ratio is 21:1 which is unheard of for a gasoline engine. It is better than a diesel engine that Caterpillar is producing today. In terms of emissions, the NOx readings are much lower than today's engines since it uses external air as opposed to internal air. This engine was designed for an automobile, but it could possibly be used for other applications such as smaller vehicles, ATVs, side by sides that are used by sportsmen, stationary engines, and generators. I attended a meeting at the Fed Ex Headquarters in Tennessee. They were interested in any fuel efficient engines for their ground fleet. They told us they would provide their trucks for side by side testing. The problem is we would have to make a new prototype engine that would fit inside their vehicle and that would be too expensive for us to take on.
If this interests Honda, I can send more information on the new engine so that the R&D department can review it. It explains the problems and flaws of todays engine in comparison to our engine. Also, I can enclose a thumb drive of the prototype engine running. My intent is to sell the patent on this new engine technology to a company so they can go further with it.
