Micro chip to be developed and placed in a cars electronics which is conntected to the fuel injector. The fuel injector as we know controls the amount of fuel going to the cylinder which powers the car. Now if via GPS this is taken a step forwards i.e. on board sensors in the car detects sensors placed in speed signs at the side of the road which in turn relays signals to satellites then you could limit a cars speed to what the road sign says.
GPS would keep tabs on the position of the cars going through a city or town and keep the car to the speed limit. On leaving a city or town then the reverse happens and the car can speed up.
This is just an idea on paper. I don't have the expertise or protection for this design. It could do away with speed cameras, but the cost in putting sensors in cars and road signs would be expensive.
