Kid Zone Salon is about having a place just for kids to go to get their haircut, braided, styled, etc. in Cedar Rapids, IA. This place would be for all types of textured hair. It would have a place for crafts, toys, gaming, or just chilling while they wait. There would be barber's as well hair hairstyles. The staff would engage in conversations with each child and build relationships. Each month there will be two days where free cuts and styles are done for free to low-income kids. I believe building a relationship with the community would be beneficial to the growth of JcPenny's. While the kids are getting their hair done, the families would have time to shop.
