Do you ever wonder why our 200 dollar mobile phones have so many accessories that a 1,200 dollar laptop has never seen?
I have a proposal for a device that is a legitimate laptop and not a tablet or convertible or whatever, but is basically a laptop with all the goodies of a smartphone. What I'm saying is: your average Lenovo Yoga 2-in-1 Windows device isn't REALLY a 2-in-1, it's just a laptop with modern features that people like. So what should be made is a device that has an actual smartphone or phablet feeling.
Things that would enhance that:
-Dual boot ability between Android and Windows (because admit it. Chrome OS doesn't have the right compatibility yet; it's just getting fingerprint support.)
-Fingerprint sensor in a clever position- such as the space bar
-Touch screen, obviously
-A half decent, iPhone-grade camera with flashlight, also make it a swivel camera like on the Lenovo N21
-Vibration motor (starting to get why I said android?)
-Backlit keys that respond with vibration when pressed
-Optional LTE capability
-Include USB-C's, definitely
It may sound stupid, but I believe that this would bring many eyes onto any tech companies for making such a bold move.
