Screw Next To Proximity Sensor

LG Product Improvement Idea

Submitted 8 years ago

I've repaired many LG phones. G2s, G3s, and now G4s. It seems LG phones, more than any other phone, have a problem with the proximity sensor working normally after being disassembled. Maybe that's something intentional on your part. However, if it's not, I'd suggest putting one of the screw holes next to the sensor. I've found that many times the problem is that the frame just needs to be squeeze tighter and the sensor starts working again normally. A screw hole near the sensor to help keep it as tight as possible could help to fix that issue.
