Floating Mouse

Zero friction floating mouse, using a pad that is magnetized through the thickness (top = north, bottom = south) have a mouse float above the pad with opposing neodymium magnets, using 4 permanent magnets it is possible to have the mouse float above the mat thus providing zero friction.

Front magnets could be semi adjustable height wise, rear need to be fully adjustable (about 1/4" total play) height wise as thats where the users hand weight primarily sits they need to be as close to the pad as possible to provide the best experience for heavy handed users, a third magnet might be advisable at the rear of the mouse to provide even more flotation. I ask one thing, name it after me, call it the Logitech Mach 1 for first gen floating mouse.

It's not too far fetched, there would be issues with the magnetic field and flash drives, warn users not to put flash drives on the magnetic mouse mat, and have different sizes of magnetic mouse mat, 8x10 at the small end and 10x13 for the large.
