Drivers To Choose Their Area To Stay Within

I'm a driver in Massachusetts. Rides can take you everywhere, and traffic can be insane to get back to a decent working area. Drivers should be able to choose an area, (few cities) they wish to stay within. Typically you stay in an area, but there are always those few rides that take you so far from where you were, it takes hours and tons of traffic to get back to any decent area.
I usually drive 45 min from my home to get to a good location to drive, as business locally is rare. I have kids, dogs, and another job that I have to work around. Sometimes I have to stop driver mode 2 hours early just to ensure I get to where I need to be.
Also, some cities are a little rough, and I've also heard other drivers say they avoid them. Then there are others we could stay in all day to make decent money.
We should be able to choose our cities we wish to drive in.
