Instead of giving a bonus on amount of rides given, there should also be an option to receive a bonus for number of miles driven with a passenger. I give a lot of rides that are 20,30, even 50 miles one way. It�¢ï¿½ï¿½s hard if not impossible to fulfill the peak hour rides requirement when one ride might be over an hour long (esp if this is just a side job).
My idea would look like: $90 power driving bonus- 75 total rides or 750 miles- 40 peak rides or 400 miles.
This way people who don�¢ï¿½ï¿½t live near a large city can hit the bonus too.
