When driving later in the evening, I have noticed that riders will request a Lyft but when seeing that the driver will not arrive for 20 minutes or so, they will cancel the request. Adding an option in the app for riders to set a designated time of arrival to their location seems like this would alleviate cancellation of requests and thus becoming more profitable for the company and driver's. The customer would select a time range, then a driver within the range of travel in that time would be alerted. In the area I was designated, and the times that I choose to work, customers will sometimes cancel the Lyft within a short few minutes. I know Jimmy John's has this option, Lyft should implement it as well.
