Selectable Power Output For Fossil Fuel Engine

have been working extensively on a concept of modifying the existing power output of fossil fuel engines to be selected as desired.This concept can transform a V8 engine to a V6 or V4 engine momentarily as so desired.
It will be based on the current V8 engine architecture, but the electronic fuel control system will be programmed for variable fuel injection in the cylinder.
Thus,in a V4 mode,fuel will be injected in four of the eight cylinders while the other four cylinders will be idle.
I strongly believe that this idea will be well recieved in keeping with reduced carbon footprint initiatives.
