I believe that the tundra would bring in a lot new customers, if you put in rear locking differential. For those who live in snowy conditions, rear locking differential would tremendously help. Also rear locking differential would be a great option for the TRD Pro-off Road package creating an even more aggressive competive truck against other leading trucks.
Another improvement I would believe would a game changer would be a 8 speed transmission, creating better fuel efficiency and greater torque. The eight speed transmission would creating a more reliable engine,because it would not have to work as hard when hauling a load
In conclusion, the tundra should improve on fuel economy, other leading brands are leading due to the fact of fuel economy. I believe that if you improve the fuel economy other leading trucks would loose a lot of business.
