Sometimes when you're leaving the bar it can take a long time for your driver to get to you. There might be a closer driver right outside the bar, but they may not get that ride. As a driver, it is frustrating being a few blocks away and not being able to move due to heavy traffic. With the new uber beacons, I think it would be smart to have the colors 'red' and 'green' displayed for people leaving the bar to see. If it is green, the car is empty and the driver is looking to give a ride. If it's red (or another color) then the driver is on a current trip or en route to pick someone up. If the color is green, passengers could get in the backseat, and then 'bump' the two phones together pairing the driver and passenger together. Thus starting the new trip. Passenger must have the app initially. It could be a much more efficient way to get people home from the big cities, and reduce waiting times. Especially in the winter!
