Far Cry 5: Compact

Ubisoft New Product Idea

Submitted 8 years ago

You know what would be a great far cry game? Far Cry mixed with "Honey, I shrunk the kids." You are a Bio-Engineer who works in the Cybernetic research department at GenTek. This state-of-the-Art research corporation has been studying how to shrink humankind for military and surveillance purposes, but went past the animal testing stage too quick- preying on the homeless and prostitutes. Not only that; they plan on taking over the world and obliterating any force that gets in their way. You discover this only after developing a stable sample. Because of their unethical methods and devious plans, you plan on stopping them. GenTek decides to make their problem disappear- you have been resized on "accident", and there is nothing you can do to reverse this. Another research scientist feels sorry for your condition, but GenTek is sweeping this incident under the rug (quite literally). Your former coworker decides to sneak you out, but faces a most unpleasant fate when he is caught after releasing you. It's now up to you to expose the company and find a way back to normal size. The game takes place in multiple open worlds- the biggest being the BASE in the research scientist's home- this BASE has cybernetic mice and gadgetry (which you helped develop during your time with GenTek) to help you on your journey. An open world, where a backyard is a tropical jungle full of now terrifying BIG critters , and the kitchen is a city with all sorts of nooks and crannys to explore. Imagine using a zipline feature to scale through cave-like structures literally in the walls! imagine facing wasps now the size of wolves! or a rat the size of a bear! Utilizing both animals and cybernetics, your one goal is to obliterate GenTek right under their noses.
