Instead of the points system, I suggest a win amount system. For example, if you are in Bronze 4, you win 3 games and you are promoted to Bronze 3. 3 games to go up through Bronze, 4 for Silver, 6 for Gold, 8 for Platinum. If you lose a game, and for example you have won 2 games in Bronze 2, 1 win is deducted, if you go below 0 wins, you are demited back to the previous rank. I think it is a good idea, and I hope you employ it into the game.
