A local phone company found a bulletproof SPAM solution to eliminate all auto-dialers and SPAM, and it's dirt simple. If it's not a valid call for you, your phone won't even ring once!
Every call starts with an automated message to the caller stating that "this number does not wish to receive calls from automated callers or solicitors. Please press 8 to confirm that you are not an automate4d caller or solicitor." Legitimate callers press 8 and hear 'please hold while your call is put through'.
Automated dialers can't handle the interaction. And solicitors typically won't continue knowing that they will not be accepted anyway.
Please vote this UP to the top, and Verizon, please provide this ASAP as these SPAMMERS are now faking use of the local exchange to get through to you.
