Pin Number
Verizon Wireless Customer Service Improvement IdeaSubmitted 6 years ago
Please disable this stupid "PIN number" verification requirement. Every time I call Verizon customer service or try to log into the Verizon app the system physically holds me down for a PIN number. I create at least a million new PIN numbers per month because I constantly forget them once I create them and this annoying system won't allow me to use the last 4 digits of my phone number, it won't allow me to use the last 4 digits of my social, it won't allow me to use repetitive numbers (9999), therefore every time I deal with you guys I must go through the infuriating task of having to set up a new pin number. This 'NEW' PIN system is extremely aggravating and is putting a lot of stress on me every time I have to deal with it, the past 5 years I been suffering from high blood pressure and this isn't helping, every time I contact Verizon or know I have to contact them I become extremely stressed. Other phone carriers don't require a PIN, in the past Verizon didn't require a pin and there were never any issues!! In my opinion a password should be sufficient, or at least the last 4 digits of your social, in order to verify yourself. Please disable it, my contract will expire on 11/2018 and this issue will strongly be taken into consideration when it comes time to renew with Verizon for additional 2 years.
