Make the washer and dryer send you a text message when it's finished. Most people are in different rooms from the laundry and this would be convenient and save time. The consumer could set a timer but newer washer and dryers stop when they determine the items are clean or dry. This feature is fantastic but it makes the idea of a timer useless.
