Reintroduce The Kindle Keyboard

Amazon.com New Product Idea

Submitted 1 year ago

This is not a new idea, it is just a suggestion that there is strong evidence that an old product has a currently overlooked audience. I am 72 years old, and I have been using Kindle as my primary reading mode sine the second generation KEYBOARD was introduced. I have owned keyboards too numerous to count, Purchasing new ones while they were still available on the market than purchasing used and refurbished ones when I could no longer buy a new keyboard. I am down to my last two keyboards and Kindle no longer supports them Directly through Wi-Fi. I have purchased two early kindle fires because they work much like the kindle keyboard, But I have not yet been forced to use them. I have owned a paperwhite I have owned an oasis I gave up all the touch screen kindles In very short order after purchasing them because I'm an older adult I like the ability to push buttons to move forward and backward and because my hands aren't sturdy I need to be able to touch the screen without having pages turn. More than 40% of the US population is 40 years of age or older. If they don't already have my dexterity issues they'll have them soon, and the Kindle keyboard is the reading device they're going to want to own. Please reconsider eliminating this device and issue it in a form very like its original. For myself I'll probably pick up several the moment they're available.
